About Sharon Holland

Sharon Holland has been a craft enthusiast for more than 30 years. As an art and design major, she has a keen eye for creating colorful prints inspired by nature. She’s always had a creative spirit, and began her career finding and refurbishing antiques. After discovering an interest in drawing and graphic design, Sharon found her true passion in dreaming up repeating patterns for use on textiles. Although she’s been involved in every aspect of the sewing and quilting community (including holding the position of Assistant Editor for crafty magazines), she’s happiest coming up with fresh, eye-catching prints for Art Gallery Fabrics.

There’s no shortage of possibilities to explore with this designer. Materials produced by Art Gallery Fabrics are known for their excellent quality and versatile prints, so they’ll be a fail-proof choice for any project that you have in mind. If you’d prefer some inspiration before you get started, here are a few of our favorite ways to use Sharon Holland fabric:

Nautical Pillow

Pillowcases make great projects for crafters of all skill levels. When you’re short on time, grab your favorite fabric and try this 15-minute pillow cover tutorial. Sharon Holland’s Coastline fabric is a fun choice to add a nautical touch to your living room or bedroom, but you can choose any print that you’d like.

Sunglasses Case

Have a new pair of sunglasses? Keep them scratch-free inside a case. It can be a challenge to find a case that suits your style, so you may prefer to make one to stash inside your tote bag or console. This project only requires a small amount of fabric and fleece, making it the perfect candidate for an easy afternoon or weekend project.
